Tidy Paws has been providing pet services to the Greater Nashville area since 2006. We currently have 10 team members and due to our continuous growth are routinely looking for exceptional people to join our team in both part-time and full-time positions.
This job is enjoyable in many respects especially if you like working outdoors and independently while having semi-flexible start and stop times. It involves a lot of driving through the different areas of Nashville as well as a great deal of walking. Therefore you must be in good condition. For some however the driving and walking are part of the appeal. Also note our techs only make physical contact with pet waste if they are not watching where they walk, so the job is not really as “gross” as many may think.
The job basically consists of our techs receiving their routes in the evening by email. They then service (clean) our customer yards the following day using company tools and trucks. Our gps outfitted trucks are supplied with a fuel card and are normally kept at the employee's home. The truck and fuel card usage are of course monitored and only to be used for work purposes.
In addition to a good driving record, general workforce experience of 10 years with some time spent in pet industry is preferred. It is a MUST that you not be afraid of barking or aggressive acting dogs. Additionally a bank account is needed for direct deposit payroll. Finally techs need a smart phone or computer for receiving the routes.
- $ 12.50 per hour starting out with $ 0.50 raises each 6 months up to $ 14.00 per hour
- Semi-flexible start and stop times
- Paid weekly with direct deposit
- Health and Dental Insurance with matched premium for full-time employees
- 401-K with 4% company match for qualified employees
As we grow, we anticipate filling positions such as supervisors, route managers, quality control, and marketing personnel from within.
It is our goal to provide long term employment to outstanding team members!
